Isabel Alcántara is the founder and principal attorney at Alcantara Law, a law firm advising registered investment advisers and foreign investors. Isabel regularly advises clients on issues related to compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, U.S. residency through investment and INTERPOL data correction. She is closely monitoring President Trump's latest announcement regarding the Gold Card and plans on providing comprehensive services to Gold Card applicants.

Isabel was previously a compliance analyst at Greenwich Advisor Compliance Solutions and a New Accounts representative at Interactive Brokers Washington, D.C. office. She interned at the Office of Chief Counsel for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration while completing her law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law. Prior to embarking in her legal career, Isabel taught English at schools in Madrid, Spain for almost four years.

Isabel is a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish. Isabel received her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University, School of Law. She received an LLM in Banking and Financial Regulation with a concentration in Securities law from Boston University, School of Law. While enrolled in law school, Isabel received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest score in a legal persuasion course. She was also selected to participate in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Institute in 2019. She was invited to speak about RIA compliance before the Financial Analysts' Society of Puerto Rico in 2025. Finally, Isabel is also a licensed Realtor. Her real estate license is held with KW Capital Realty in Coral Gables, FL. She provides E-2 Visa commercial property searches for her clients and leverages Keller Williams' large network of Realtors across the United States.
