CIO.com reported that “CIOs constantly speak about the need to drop the technical jargon and talk “the language of business.” Yet, they don’t except business to do the same.” The February 10, 2025 article entitled “15 most misused buzzwords in IT” (https://www.cio.com/article/191262/most-misused-buzzwords-in-information-technology.html?utm_campaign=editorial&utm_medium=cio&utm_source=browseralert) included these 15 misused buzzwords:

1. Digital transformation

2. Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligence in general

3. Strategic

4. Agile and DevOps

5. Product, platform, application, as-a-service

6. Microservices

7. Edge computing

8. Demand management

9. Bandwidth

10. No-code/no IT required

11. Tech debt

12. Data terms

13. Data breach

14. Multicloud

15. Meta anything

The C-Level will never understand these buzzwords!
