At Tuckner, Sipser, Weinstock & Sipser, LLP, we are proud to see our founding partner and groundbreaking menopause advocacy attorney, Jack Tuckner, continuing to lead the national conversation on women’s rights in the workplace—this time on the critical and often overlooked issue of menopause.

As highlighted in a recent press release, the First National Menopause Marathon will launch across three major cities on October 18, 2026—World Menopause Day. The event is designed not only as a race but as a movement, bringing attention to the need for comprehensive support for women navigating menopause, both personally and professionally.

The announcement also spotlighted the recent program “Menopause At Work – Legal Risks, Compliance Strategies and Policy Solutions,” which featured Jack Tuckner alongside leading lawmakers, academics, and attorneys. Jack’s advocacy focused on the evolving legal landscape around workplace protections for menopause, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s new guidance and state-level legislative efforts.

Jack has long been at the forefront of workplace equity, and his involvement in this historic conversation underscores the firm’s commitment to ensuring that no woman faces discrimination because of natural life transitions like pregnancy or menopause.

As the press release notes, menopause legislation is advancing rapidly, with 20 states now engaged in shaping workplace protections. Rhode Island led the way by mandating accommodations, and several others (including New York) have active bills pending. Jack’s voice in this movement helps ensure that women workers receive the recognition, support, and dignity they deserve.

We celebrate Jack’s role in this groundbreaking initiative and will continue to update our community on the progress of menopause-related workplace protections.
