NYC Starts Regulating Employer Use of Artificial Intelligence, Indicating a Potential Trend

Several states and local entities have enacted laws or introduced legislation to address the use and/or effects of artificial intelligence in the workplace. The latest and most sweeping is New York City’s recent enactment of Local Law 144 of 2021.
