Chatbots Disrupting Media By Delivering Personal News and Content to Users

Bloomberg media reporter Gerry Smith, reports there is a growing threat to traditional media by virtue of the growing rise of chatbots, such as OpenAI’s GPT-4 which will disrupt traditional media by delivering personal news and content to users.

The chatbot’s ability to engage users in conversations and tailor content according to their preferences will pose a significant challenge to established media companies. Media companies which have already been struggling with declining revenues and changing consumer behavior could be hit even harder.

Media, news and content, via conversation as opposed to search and reported edited stories? Who thought this may have been possible, only a couple months ago.
