Problems. Execupundit discusses the fact that business writers are comfortable highlighting problems without suggesting solutions. That doesn’t work in BigLaw or Big Corporations. The old saw about never bringing a problem to a supervisor without suggesting a solution doesn’t work in solo practice. We are required to consider solutions whenever a problem arises. We are the HR Department. That is one reason why the pundit class fails to impress me. Don’t fill my head with problems without, at the least, suggesting that you think you know a way to solve them. Meh.
