Okay, this is tongue in cheek; but, given the mass insanity we call a society, is it a surprise that some of us are forming relationships with our AI enable smartphones? As AI bots become more human like, and can converse with us in real voices, and intelligent discourse, those who have difficulty with the complexities of human relationships logically can be drawn to a computer that will do whatever we desire. Of course, some AIs can be snarky, like Elon Musk’s Grok; but in the main, computers, however smart, merely mimic what their programmers put in. So, cuddle up with your smartphone on the couch.
