In case you didn’t see this, the most important breakthrough in tech recently wasn’t Generative AI or the launch and capture of the SpaceX rocket; although, they both came from the mind of the same man, Elon Musk. We forget that he was a co founder of Open AI, which is the leading AI bot. No, the most amazing, and world changing tech advance in history is the development of Optimus, a learning robot that, when connected to the Internet, and Generative AI, can perform tasks and learn about the world autonomously. I am happy that I lived long enough to see this, even though I hope that humankind uses the technology for the betterment of humans, and not for evil purposes. You and I won’t be around for the ultimate integration of robotics into future humans; but I am blown away by the possibilities. Living in this time is like watching a SciFi movie become reality.
